Emerging from the Cocoon

Hello beautiful souls,

I’ve been quieter here for a while, not from emptiness, but from depth. Not from absence, but from listening.

There are seasons when the soul doesn’t want to speak yet… it wants to shed.

Over the past year, I’ve been gently peeling away more layers, inherited, learned, absorbed through life’s many thresholds. Layers that once served me, now loosening their grip. Layers we all carry, even when we don’t realize they were never truly ours.

Beneath them, something far more honest waits patiently.

The self beneath the story. The “I” beneath the becoming.

Luke 6:37 comes to mind often:
“Who am I to judge another, when I myself walk as an imperfect person?”

And perhaps the most tender lesson… Who are we to judge ourselves as we unfold?

Growth is not always soft. Awakenings are not always quiet.

Sometimes evolution is fast, searing, catalytic. Sometimes it changes us not gently, but truthfully.

I’ve learned that transformation doesn’t always arrive with ease. Sometimes it arrives like a storm that clears the sky.

There were moments when my body was tired. Moments my heart felt hollowed open. Moments where silence was my sanctuary.

And yet, through it all, grace remains. In unseen ways. In quiet endurance. In the way the soul keeps whispering, “Stay. Breathe. Trust.”

If anything, this season has taught me that healing is not linear, but it is always sincere.

And that returning to yourself is not a destination. It is a remembering.

Thank you for being here. For connecting through feelings between the words. For holding space without needing explanation.

I am not emerging as something new. I am returning as something truer.
